If you have brought your iPhone in Cambodia and it is locked, there are two ways you can unlock it to use with a local SIM card. If you don’t want to risk doing it yourself, bring your iPhone to have it unlocked at Sorya Mall. A soft unlock will cost about $10 to $15. A hard unlock, which involves altering the physical chip, which will cost around $50. The best way to unlock your iPhone is to “JailBreak” it. To do this you first need to download a third-party store like Cydia, Icy and Installous. If your iPhone is already unlocked, the simplest way to do it is to go to jailbreakme.com from your iPhone when you’re online. This will download Cydia onto your iPhone and jailbreak it.
